Mukilteo Montessori

The Campus

Mukilteo Montessori School is situated on two acres that includes a large playground, second growth cedars, and a seasonal wetland. We refer to this area as our outdoor botany lab. It is a place to explore banana slugs, many kinds of birds, earthworms, pacific tree frogs, and much, much more.

Our playground includes two climbing structures to help develop and exercise muscles. There is an enclosed sandbox, a playhouse, and a yurt that help spark imaginative play in the children, and finally a children’s garden that teaches about growing and caring for plants.
