A ducati i like. Sounds great, looks great and your laugh says everything. Desmo services still put me off though. The price is reasonable to. Same price as the big boy ktm superduke….which personally looks better and is a lot more powerful. Do you think we're still paying for that ducati badge. Great video btw.

A lot of money when you could buy an MT10SP or almost a Speed T 1200RS which are both faster

Not a bad looking bike but the Speed Triple 1200RS trumps it
The looks must be polarising. The pendulous cows udder seems too low over the ground and would be susceptible to damage if pushed off a curb. The tiny head light looks like something out of the 5th Element. I'm sure the bike runs and performs well though.
I’ve got an 899 and love it to bits, but looking for a change…. Is this the one?? I’m not sure, it doesn’t sound as good as the 899 so an after market exhaust would be a must and an expensive V2 turns into a really expensive V2!! Bring on the lessons learned review and help me make up my mind!!
Loved the review as always. I have always been a Ducati fan and I recently rode the new Monster. I was extremely disappointed with amount of vibration through the seat and bars. In addition, the mirrors could not be adjusted in order for me to see behind me. Also my boot would not fit between the shifter and foot peg. The dealer was not the least agreeable with my complaints. I have a KTM 790 Duke which is butter smooth and the mirrors and shifter cause no issues. With all that in mind I have to say it rode smooth, handled well and perhaps with new boots and mirrors I could learn to ignore the vibes. It did appear to be a quality unit. Something not always said about KTM.
I have a Streetfighter V2 now with 850 miles on (first service was at 620). I kept it below 6K rpm before first service, and it was maybe a bit vibey below 5K, but now run in it all smooths out beyond 5K rpm. Now I'm familiar with the bike, I use 2nd gear for 30mph zones and 3rd for 40 zones, to be honest from the vid, I think you were in too high a gear at those speeds.

His bike is in the garage for over three months now and still no news about when it wi be ready. Is there any way you could help him maybe with some contacts at Honda or possibly Royal Enfield so that he could borrow a bike for his next adventure? You seem like a nice guy with lots of contacts. Another great review. By opting for the V2 you night lose bragging rights at the pub… but at least you'd still be able to afford a beer!
I've been waiting for this review after only riding the v2 up to now. I loved the v2, but after only owning straight 4s I couldn't really do a fair comparison. But I am due to ride a v4 in the next couple of weeks which I am looking forward too. But great review TMF as always, honest and informative.
I'm not sure Ducati was not shooting for fairly attractive, sounds okay, and a little has more vibration than normal. Hopefully the bike will have more redeeming factors as your long-term review proceeds, however initial impressions good or bad are often the best.
There more than a few bikes that provide the grin factor, are more comfortable less expensive. I await further insights as time goes by.
I will just stick to the Multi Strada V4 – do you get to ride around High Wycombe much as that would be the ultimate test for any bike

i thought Ducati had ditched the Desmodromic stuff. Maybe i'm wrong. I'm no ducatiste (whatever ducati fans are called)
I got to try this bike out a few days ago, albeit at a very small and narrow circuit with a lot of other riders on it, and only for about 15 minutes, but I found it to be a lovely bike, if you can overlook the very shaky experience of riding it in low RPMs. For a standard Euro-5 pipe it sounds absolutely gorgeous and those front brakes are just spectacular. If I had the money, I'd get one. Ideally yesterday.
Andy,I prefer your Panigale…the Fit and finish might be good but it sounds worse than a dumper,you also picked out so many niggles on a first ride a first for you I think.

not a fan personally…I dont like the lumpy sound…or the looks particularly…I ride a inline 4 so I'm sure I'm bias but it's not for me…

Nice bike and review Andy but that radiator and oil cooler need protection from that non existent front mud guard.
Great review! There's a lot to like on this beautifull bike but I can't get over the amount of plastic covers covering the whole right hand side of the engine. I wonder why they went this route. Is it because of heat or sound reducing or just a cheap and easy way to hide all the cables and other bits. The V4 doesn't have this much of plastic hiding the engine.

Ducati V2 Streetfighter 2022. Look good, seat might need adjusting for someone like me, or I will have take stepladders with and would be funny. Lol. Love to see what it looks like at night time with those headlights. So can’t wait to see more reviews Mr Flyer on this motorbike.

I've seen the V4 and V2 side by side and personally I like the V2 a bit better…….I will say that both these machines are gorgeous, but the V2 looks less cluttered around the engine as all the external wiring is hidden out of view, where the V4 is more exposed.
Possibly one for the future, although as a used model, imagine she's a joy to ride, look forward to your longer term review, Cheers Andy.
