I ended up getting a v2 as my first printer. I have used the v1 a few time before but overall I think I like the v2 better. My only complaint right now is no auto leveling, plastic extruder, and and no filament runout sensor. But I've seen someone turn the z axis switch into a filament runout sensor when they got an auto leveler which solved 2 of the issues
Im getting a v2 in 3 Dwyer someone have some tips for me?
Do the ender 3, 3 v2, and 3 s1 all have the same frame setup? I've only been able to look at pictures, I'm thinking of buying a broken 3 v1 off if eBay for the frame and bed then get the rest from other places to save a bit of money and also to upgrade it for the future. Are the frames the same?
thank you
hey i wonder im really stressed about that i was wanting to buy the ender 3 v1 but when i saw the prints i got more stressed about the stripes is that a problem or does all printer gett stripes like that
What brand of filament did you use to print these? I bought a roll of inland black and I want to see if it will be any good
thanks man
Wow I needed this exact video! Props man
so you respond to every comment? how about this one?
So for a education purpose, non-profesional user, do u think V1 can go a long way?
Great Video. Would be really interesting to send the exact same Gcode into the S1
Should I get an ender 3 v2. Or an ender 3 max? I might need the extra size but I'm not sure. Should I get the max to be safe?
Is it worth the upgrade?
It's now 20 dollar difference
I found a ender 3 en v2 for the same prize which one should I get?
very good video, exactly what i was looking for!
Love the Back To The Future 2 reference, about 1:20 in.
1 year later. Does the ender 3 v1 have a 32bit processor now?
pfoa…that print quality…. i would love to know the machine Settings u used .nice work
Have to comment and say this was a very informative video. Thank you.
I wanna grab the V1 so bad as my first printer, it's on sale on amazon for $250 canadian. Kinda nervous about putting it together myself, I can build pc's but this seems way more advanced
On the thumbnail, you got the two mixed up
Hey there so this is an odd question, but could you zip the test files for the Ender 3?(mainly the dog) my sd card that came with the printer corrupted and I lost the test files. Thanks man!
Whats your opinion on frogs?
As a student I don’t think the extra hundred is worth it plus I think the modding and tweaking is part of the learning process
Where can I buy filament for these for a cheap price?
Which one is best for the polymer 80s
I’m still unsure about which to pick will I be fine with the v1?
The new v1 cost around 150$ and have that 4.2.2 mainboard with silent driver, so should i get v1 to save 100$?
I'll be honest, with a 100$ budget I think I should be able to upgrade my ender 3 v1 to V2 piece by piece.
Actually I think that would be a fun challenge for a tinkerer like me.
My Ender 3 arrived a week ago, I chose standard version because of price difference. Standard was on sale with 20% lower price than it normal was. Only thing that I would like is better stepper motor controllers of V2. Other stuff I printed out, and turns out better – feeding wheel for example, no woble on printed part. Also it's very fun to upgrade and watch your printer grow. =)
Isn't it possible to just upgrade the drivers on the V1 to get them on par with the drivers on V2?
So if you could be so kind as to direct me to the video you mention about better clones? I'm looking to get into 3D printing (mostly for D&D reasons, but also because I enjoy making things, even if I have zero artistic ability–a dream since childhood has been custom action figures), and while Hel's Holiest of Bells, $250 for the V2 seems nice or whatever, you suggest towards the end there are even better clones of it, for those who might want to put in the effort of DIY.
Wellsir, I'm the seventh son of a seventh son of a son of a gun from birth what's also an electrician, I'm not opposed to a bit of work! Bring on the vidya!
Thanks man! I was already considering going with the v1, as I'm just getting a taste of 3d printing, so this was a great video! Thank you very much sir! 👍👌
Props to Ender putting this on their site, it's not a biased review. Makes me want one even more because of that
Someone is selling an Ender 3 V1 near me for $150. Is it worth buying, or too old to get into now and there's better options out there now?
Probably a silly question but for the V2, where do you store the printing cartridge cable?
I'm looking to get into 3d printing and was debating. Very informative and entertaining vid, thanks!
The fact he has responded to every single comment, shows you his dedication to his work and channel. Awesome video!!
my ender 3 came with a glass bed lmfao.
I'm still stuck on what one to buy 🙁
Just got my first printer last weekend, a V2. Having problems with Y axis shift
A fantastic comparison video, thank you!
Does the V2 come with thermal runaway?
Yup my new Ender 3 V1 is a 4.2.2 32 bit board with a boot loader
What printer do u suggest for a new time printer? Budget 250
good job, thanks a lot…
You're a literal god for making this video. Liked and sub'd.
has there been a follow up on the other competitor printers as mentioned?
Upgrade your audio plz, really don't like it and you seem to have a professional great setup/style besides the audio.
